ALL THE LOVE MY HEART CAN HOLD
ALL THE LOVE MY HEART CAN HOLD
V1
Twenty years ago, our first kiss
There were stars in the sky, harvest moon on the rise
You held me close, neither of us spoke
V2
We stepped through the moonlight holding hands
I felt a change in my heart, I felt love again
All these thoughts were running wild in my head sayin''
CHORUS
Give me all the love my heart can hold
Stay with me ''till I''m old
And give me all the love my heart can hold
Wrap me in your arms when I''m cold
And give me all the love my heart can hold
Give me all the love, all the love my heart can hold
V3
Now we''ve traveled the world, places ancient and far
Climbed sand dunes and mountains, thrown coins in fountains
Saw animals in all their glory, to make our own story
V4
Now we''re back on our porch swing holding hands
I can''t believe how lucky I am that you''re my man
CHORUS
You give me all the love my heart can hold
You''ll stay with me ''till I''m old
And give me all the love my heart can hold
You wrap me in your arms when I''m cold
You give me all the love my heart can hold
You give me all the love, all the love my heart can hold

GOD'S GARDEN
V1
Snow covered mountain tops lost in the clouds
Animals roaming free and wild
Sunlit deserts filled with grains of sand
Ocean waves rolling toward the land
V2
The beautiful song of a morning bird
Listen closely or it won't be heard
The strength of a flower standing tall in the rain
Year after year it will rise again
Chorus
This is God's Garden
A special place He calls Earth
He wrapped it in heaven for his Son's birth
Take a walk through the valleys
Run through the streams
Watch over God's Garden
It's his gift to you and me
V3
Every child, every woman, every man
Stand and join your hands
Raise your eyes to the sun, the moon, and stars at night
Look to the northern sky for the show of lights
Chorus
In God's Garden.......
Bridge
Let's all get down on our knees, plant a seed
Shower it with faith, hope, and charity
Help it grow into the strongest oak tree
Chorus
In God's Garden....
--- END ---

FDBK 105 - THE COUNTRY
THE COUNTRY
Words and Music ©
Sue Sherback
V1 Hot summer sun on the tall tan grass
We made our way along the overgrown path
Around the bend we saw the old wooden house
Seemed like time had stopped
The fields on the farm had fallen back
Back to nature's hand
All the years of lovin' care had vanished from
CH1 The Country, smells of fresh cut grass
The Country, cool drinks in a glass
The Country, spendin' time with Gram and Pap
The Country, long hikes through the woods
Not returning when we should
The Country was all of that
V2 The tornado had brought winds of change
Tossed the trees about, blew the windows out
Now the memories in the rooms of that house
Were swept away with the broken glass
Pap had passed, Gram was growing older
Upkeep was too much to shoulder
With heavy hearts we nailed up the sign
For sale by the realtor in
CH2 The Country.....repeat chorus
B We remembered pickin' apples for fresh baked pies
Remembered closing our eyes to star filled skies
Remembered the hum of the old steel mill
We remembered Pap wavin' from the windowsill
Now there's no one, no one at the window
To greet us to the Country, the Country
V3 Now strangers they stop and stare
With no feeling for what once was there
Plans they made call for clearin' the land
Makin' room for a big neighborhood plan
While some people they stop and stare
They're not strangers to what once was theirs
Money they made will never replace
Parts of lives they left out there
In all their hearts lives
CH3 The Country.......
