Right and Wrong


It’s not all flowers and kisses
Sometimes it’s hard to see your way
What you say, what you do, can be misunderstood
Rewind the tape, check every frame, strike out that line
What I really mean

I get the difference between right and wrong
But it’s not always clear where that line draws
Fighters have colours, red corner, blue, but we’re not fighting, are we?
So many ways of living our song

Somethings don’t change, and we wish that they would
Things best forgotten, if only we could
Moving along, singing and dancing
It’s all good, it’s all good

I get the difference between right and wrong

On the side of the good guys, you and me
‘Cos we’re not fighting, are we?
So many ways of living our song

Once upon a long time ago, we danced with the dream
It was easy, horizons were wide, part of the show
Flowers and kisses, but what do I know?
