    Backstory:
We are planning to do a country demo with live musicians, and want to get feedback before proceeding. We have gotten feedback from Dallas and Anna Kline that was very helpful and we incorporated their suggestions. Music by Clare Steffen & John Melusky, Lyrics by Clare Steffen--this demo is our rough draft played & produced by John, but as mentioned we are planning to do a Country version.

    Lyrics:

V1 We’re at a fork in the road And I can’t tell what’s next You let all your feelings show I die waiting for your text If I let you steal my heart Will I ever get it back If we call it quits and part Will everything fade to black Chorus Somewhere between the lost and found Stumbling, can't find my way out Don’t know if it’s right or wrong Hell bent on protecting my heart (BGV:From getting kicked about) But with you I might be heaven bound I'll stop pretending I was strong I was stuck between the lost and found V2 Didn't know what I was looking for Thought I had it all figured out My mind was playing tug of war You gave me so much more to think about Chorus Somewhere between the lost and found Stumbling, can't find my way out Don’t know if it’s right or wrong Hell bent on protecting my heart (BGV: From getting kicked about) But with you I might be heaven bound I'll stop pretending I was strong Here with you between the lost and found Instrumental Bridge Chorus Somewhere between the lost and found I’ve finally found my way out Stopped pretending that I’m strong No longer Hell bent, I’m heaven bound Outro I’m not stuck between the lost and found
