With Prices so high, Doug and I decided to write a song reflecting the struggle the working class is going through trying to pay bills in this challenging environment

I don’t blame my coach or the Baptist preacher,
They tried to help, they know how it feels,
They’re just well-meaning folks, as clueless as me,
who can’t even pay their own bills
