A great light was seen in the dark lands
it was there beyond Jordan and Galilee 
And on the sick Jesus laid his hands
He healed them and set them free

Illness and disease were flown away
and the good news of Heaven spread
As He taught them to repent and pray

then the multitudes came unto Him

He gave all the Word clear and plain
