Backstory:
I wrote this song last year and just now resurrected it so I don't really remember what the backstory was exactly. But I love Miranda Lambert's "Lookin Back on Luckenbach" and anything Lainey Wilson does so they were the primary inspiration for this song.

[Intro]
[Verse 1]
Well I met him in a nightclub
On a weekend getaway
Lookin like he's from Texas
But he lived out in LA
His stories kept on changing
As we danced the night away
My lonely heart was racing
Wrapped in his body's gentle sway
[Chorus]
But I don't want a concrete cowboy
One who'll never rope or ride
Struttin round in Laredo's
That never walked a country mile
Just another Urban Plowboy
Takin up all my time
I don't want a concrete cowboy
Comin home with me tonight
[Verse 2]
If he wasn't so darn handsome
I'd have run straight for the hills
But he was pretty good at dancin
And he did pay all of the bills
Was it just cold in there
Or was it him giving me chills
Damn if that Tequila
Wasn't drownin my last will
[Chorus]
But I don't want a concrete cowboy
One who'll never rope or ride
Struttin round in Laredo's
That never walked a country mile
Just another Urban Plowboy
Takin up all my time
I don't want a concrete cowboy
Comin home with me tonight
[Bridge]
Well this girl ain't no fool
But the next thing that I knew
He called a taxi ride for two
Yeah a taxi ride for two
[Chorus]
Now I've got this concrete cowboy
One who'll never rope or ride
Struttin round in Laredo's
That never walked a country mile
Just another Urban Plowboy
Takin up all my time
Yeah I got a concrete cowboy
Comin home with me tonight
[Outro]
Oh I got this concrete cowboy
Comin home with me tonight
