Backstory:

I knew that Matt had a lot of feeling in his voice and with that in mind I wrote,"You're the Best Thing in My Life". I just wrote the words as they flowed and I knew that it would sound good when sang by Matt. Plus I wanted a good country sound and I feel like we accomplished that.
