Backstory:

This is simply a male version of a song we have previously wrote for female artists. It is based on a person's mental examination of their past combined with a zeal for the future. It is visionary, forward (and backward) looking but the overall theme is a person can always change course at any age and live their dream. "Sometimes life gets in the way" the first line of verse 2 tells listeners that things happen, work, family, marriage, children that prevent us from pursuing the life we dreamed of when we were young. Follows through with there is still time to have that life.
