    Backstory:
Time Traveler is dedicated to all who have faced the loss of a loved one. Your grief is an exact measurement of the space that person occupies in your heart. I pray peace brings with it the realization that you only hurt so deeply because you were first blessed to love so deeply.

The title derives from a term that is commonly used to describe fictional visitors of the past or future. Witnessing my beloved grandmother’s journey with dementia gave it a very real and much deeper meaning for me. From bedridden, transtemporal treks to her heavenly flight, Grandma traveled through time and then left it. She was, and still is, my angel.

This song poured out of me during an extremely painful time, for healing purposes. My hope is that it will provide someone else with the same healing.

    Lyrics:

Time traveler Tell me, where do you go Are you free from this world Can you see the shores of Heaven I'm unraveling There's a distance in your eyes Where I'll never say goodbye 'Cause I know it's not forever Oh, and you're the reason I believe in angels You've always deserved a pair of wings I'm trying, but my heartstrings are all tangled I know they're gonna break me when you leave Time traveler If you no longer know my name Every time you see my face I'll pray you find it in a memory I'm thankful For all the love we share And though I'm dying to keep you here You will always be a part of me Oh, and you're the reason I believe in angels You've always deserved a pair of wings I'm trying, but my heartstrings are all tangled I know they're gonna break me when you leave Oh, and you're the reason I believe in angels You've always deserved a pair of wings I'm trying, but my heartstrings are all tangled I know they're gonna break me when you leave Time traveler
