    Backstory:
The song kind of just happened. Lyrically I was having fun with the concept of two people who can't get by with or without each other and the phases of denial, recognition and acceptance that go along with it.

    Lyrics:

Verse 1 Keep walking now Don’t call my bluff Exit stage left I’ve had enough I’m in and out of love with you Verse 2 You ain’t my fate Or on my mind This poor heart ache’s Too much this time I’m in and out of love with you Chorus 1 A burnt bridge leaves you…one place to go It ain’t like those love songs, on the radio Ain’t got the strength to leave you Nor to stay…so then We’ll dive headlong into in love and then out again Verse 3 So keep moving now You’re in my head I’m thinking how To stay ahead Wish I could live my life again….. Verse 4 You’re out of luck You know this time You’re out to make me lose my mind Wish I could live these days again….. Chorus 2 A burnt bridge leaves you…one place to go It ain’t like those love songs, on the radio Ain’t got the strength to leave you Nor to stay…so then We’ll dive headlong into in love and then out again Yeah, we’ll dive headlong into in love and then out again That’s it, my friend Instrumental Chorus 3 Yeah, a burnt bridge leaves you just one place to go It ain’t like those love songs on…. the radio Ain’t got the strength to leave you Nor to stay…so then We’ll dive headlong into in love and then out again Yeah, we’ll dive headlong into in love and then out again So be it, my friend Ohh yeah, oh,oh
