Backstory:

The inspiration is from my own personal journey. I was forced into a situation that I now realize is the very best thing for me once I stopped complaining and learned to appreciate that things I prayed for were right here in my face. I just took a different path to get here

Found myself in a situation that cut right to the heart of me 

Shook the core of my foundation and it brought me to my knees

I'm hurtin' here and then a voice rang clear

I once prayed to my father to remove this cup when I thought I’d had enough 
he said no thankfully

The bigger picture, greater plan is sometimes hard to understand but lookin’ back I see
