    Backstory:
This started from a poetry tribute contest "shades of Bowie" to be based on one of his songs. My inspiration was Dollar Days by David Bowie on his final "Blackstar" album.

Shade? more like a shadow of the esoteric bowie lyrics, but it will just have to do. Hope you are smiling down on it Mr Jones !

    Lyrics:

(The Narrator) his star to you he brought and love for you never faded and though he was sold and bought for him, you could never be traded (the star) "soul in my soul, always chasing me but I ride waves to the stars as long as it’s you I can see this journey will always be ours" (chorus for a group) we'll not forget you you were why we hear we'll not forget you your sound seen far and near (the star) "I am standing against a tsunami something far away, I thought was nothing but some can’t dance with the big sea so for the last time a blackstar is singing" (The narrator) falling long, and calling hard maybe leaving the station soon gives you a song, suits take a yard this time he’ll smile at the blue moon (Chorus group) we'll not forget you you were why we hear we'll not forget you your sound seen far and near (outro - by chorus group) oh no we'll not forget you oh no we'll not forget you oh no we'll not forget you
