Backstory:
Wrote the instrumental part and then labored a long time with the lyrics. Had a theme but it took awhile to put it all together. SongU had me work with Amelia Blake as a co-write and she helped set the direction. MANY re-writes! My Michael Buble attempt. Bob Dellaposta suggested I make it a Jazz standard, big band style. I would really love to have this sung by a female vocalist...suggestions?

Maybe it's just a trick of the mind
Little random thoughts
I haven't yet defined
Since you've offered this new equation
It's required close consideration
Been adding it up
MAYBE IT'S LOVE
Maybe
Maybe I'm not fully immune
Easily caught off guard
Trapped by the pull of the moon
Seems I've got this “You” fixation
And realize it's pure speculation, but
If I had to guess
MAYBE IT'S LOVE
Detecting changes in my attitude
Feeling resistance slowly fade away
Out on this limb
Throwing caution to the wind
There's a chance, I'll make it
I'm willing to take it
MAYBE IT'S LOVE, Maybe it's not
Maybe it's just some sneaky virus
That I've caught
Some form of rare psychosis
That up 'till now
I've refused to notice
But then again,
MAYBE IT'S LOVE
Maybe
Just Maybe
