    Backstory:
    It personally took me many years of living and struggling to realize what really matters in this life. For me, this song tells the story of the simple, good things that are still alive, if only in our hearts.     
    
    I usually write family songs or love songs, about small town life, like being "firmly rooted in love, in this place that we call home."
