    Backstory:
I saw an article in the USA Today about a guy magnet fishing from a bridge over the Detroit River and he pulled up some dog tags of a WWII vet. I just used the idea to create a song and adapted to the Vietnam War.

    Lyrics:

FOUND AGAIN I threw a magnet in the river Tied to a fishing line I've been doing this for several years Just to see what I could find I caught some rusty scrap metal And lots of old tin cans Today I pulled up something May take awhile to understand It was a semi shiny object On a jumbled tangled chain Couldn't make out what it was for sure Till I wiped away the stain Reached into my back pocket Pulled out a well worn cloth rag Turns out my discovery Was a GI's dog tag And the name on the tag read Alan J. Baum He served his country in Vietnam From the bottom of the river To the palm of my hand Once lost now found again Back on my computer Started searching for his name Found out he died some years ago Man what a shame Learned he had a daughter living In the town next to me Called her up and told her I found her daddy's legacy Drove right over to her house Knocked on the front door A woman came to greet me Whom I'd never met before I pulled out her daddy's dog tags Gently placed them in her hand She looked at them and shed a tear It seemed like it was God's plan CHORUS
