Backstory:

This is the result of a convergence of ideas interests. 
At the same time I was examining lyric writing, a poetic writing prompt of "a unique perspective" came my way. 

So I thought what greater component of perspective is there than a mirror, and why not try writing it in a lyric form. 
Also time ago I wrote "Finding Equality" which had a bit of mirror/equality context. 

Stirred all three in the pot and this is the result.

I did not have any particular genre in mind in writing it so I have used "other".

Lyrics:

                                                  
Verse 1
in a mirror take a look
something only you can see
behind the cover of your book
is the place of honesty

Verse 2
in the mirror look again
and see that a heart is there
matters not if love or pain
it reflects what you can share
