Backstory:

Wrote the original for a lyric writing competition, inspired by a dim, dark forest photo with a path towards an area of light beyond the dark wood, using it as metaphor for a failing, estranged relationship but with a positive hopeful message of finding a way through back to a loving place.
Collaborators helped develop get melody to fit the words/timing to fit the melody. We also worked on timing of sections, musical phrasing of sections.  
It got a highly commended grade in the Uk song contest Sept 2021.
