Bailey’s By The Sea
V1
There’s a paradise, our family went to every year
A Shangri-La called Bailey’s By The Sea
I remember daddy’s grin as he taught me how to swim
And that day we made my floaties obsolete

Yeah, Bailey’s by the sea
Mom and dad, my brothers and me
When I’m there, I feel that kid I was
All those memories, so precious to me
Made down there at Bailey’s by the sea
V2
Daddy out there in the back yard, cussin’ that Evinrude
Seems like most of the time, it wouldn’t run
Mama laughing by the back door, fryin’ fish on that old stove
We didn’t have much but man, we had fun
Ch
Br
Mom and dad moved to Heaven, my brothers moved away
I’m the only one who’s still around here
I visit Bailey’s in their honor, and when I see the water
It always brings a smile, and sometimes a little tear
