Backstory:

A simple heartfelt love song written for someone who is not aware of the writer's feelings for them, but the writer turns to creating a song to express what they feel.  

This song was written a quite some time ago.   It is just a rough recording of a work in progress  and needs more instruments , harmony and has not been mixed.  Thinking of  adding a kind of Appalachian fiddle for instrumental at that section.

It’s a rough plain of life I roam, and peace is a long way home,

And what does it mean, when your in my mind all else goes dark and can’t be seen ,

You can make dull days seem fine, you’re my light when the sun won’t shine,

And I wish I could be with you all the time.

And how can I tell you, all the things I want to say but just can’t get through,

Writing letters takes so long, and I always get it wrong,

So instead I just sat down and wrote this song.
