Backstory:
This song was enjoying a ride back home at night with my mother and sister. Looking at others in love remind me of the one time I was in love seeing everyone in my hood love. How they carry on and being rich is a new meaning. They happy without the big house, expensive cars etc. I wonder how we smile knowing we all don't have the best. Happiness not build on all material things. When we move from country life to this minorities area I felt younger I was living in the city. No I'm just living in a country area with minorities like myself.

Lyrics:
Living this ghetto life
Nothing glamorous
With my boy I know he just another a hood
He's a star
I wouldn't have it any way
Pinching for pennies to have a loaf bread
But the meal feel like a five star restaurant
I don't have to wonder
No no no
If he's all mines
I got a lover that will be by my side
That's worth the time
Chorus
I got a Hood Love
He might not be a rich man
Girl he all I have
I got a Hood Love
Long as it last forever
That's all I need in this world
This Hood Love
Call it the slums
I call it my home
It's like I'm living in style
It so elite cause I got the best thing with me
Honey that's fame
You know when his dark skin touch mines
I know nothing can come in between
I don't have to wonder
No no no
I got a ghetto super star
I'm in love with every part
You see that's the worth the time
Some thing money can never buy
Chorus
I got a Hood Love
He might not be a rich man
Girl he all I have
I got a Hood Love
Long as it's last forever
That's all I need in this world
This Hood Love
Bridge
Like queen arie say
That brown skin
I need some of that brown skin
*** You see that's he's worth the time
Somethings money can never buy
Money can't buy you love
Chrous
I got a Hood Love
He might not be a rich man
Girl he all I have
I got a Hood Love
Long as it's last forever
That's all I need in this world
