Got the idea from a devotional story I read a while back.

                                                 Daytime Moon
V1     It’s good to see my friend the moon
          When she’s hanging in the sky
          Her silver light in the night
          Catching dreams and flying high 
          But sometimes there’s a daytime moon
          When the sun will let me see
          That’s when I get to thinking
          And then it occurs to me

Ch      Is there a message in the daytime moon
           God is sending you and me
           He’s always here watching over us
           Even when we cannot see

V2       Sometimes the sun can hide the moon
            Troubles can hide God from me
            When I’m blinded by worries
            It’s hard to feel God’s peace
            But I know He is always here
            He’s in everything I do
            Yeah, I know He is watching
            When I see the daytime moon
