    Backstory:
I read a letter written by a woman to her husband who had died. It was a letter that she added to over the years that went by. She just passed away herself on 4/24/2019. She loved her late husband, and remained true to him, to the end!

    Lyrics:

The Man She’s Waited For (Verse) She wrote you a letter; one you’d never read. You were gone and left her, with her heart full of grief. (Verse) She wondered what to do, with all her hopes and dreams. Seemed like all she knew, was what losing you means. (Chorus 1) That woman full of love, so eternal and so true. What she was thinking of, was how badly she missed you. And as the years went by, she wrote a little more. With each new line she’d cry, for the man she’s waited for. (Verse) She wrote how much she loved you; that she hurt since you’ve been gone. She wrote how much she needed you, what she thought had gone wrong. (Verse) One line was marked eleven years, and another said twenty-two. Many thoughts and many tears; they were all for loving you. (Repeat Cho 1) She didn’t know you were that ill. Said you never did let on. But that morning you were cold and still. She reached, but you were gone. (Chorus 2) That woman full of love, so eternal and so true. What she was thinking of, was how badly she missed you. But her time has finally come. She’s standing at Heaven’s door. Her forever has begun, with the man she’s waited for. The man she’s waited for.
