Watch another version of Shakespeare Midnight Summer Dream. I thought if I had to rewrite a more modern hip version what would it be. I said to myself or sung this while trying to pass my songwriting lyric class. So not perfected.

Midnight Summer Dream by Sheryl Collins Roberson it was a blissful night it change all my life We ran to the sun Our passion for each other seen so right The future is going to be bright Snug up under a tree so tight I knew you were the boy to change my life Chorus It was a midnight summer dream It was just you and me Playing like we use to be It was like the first time we ever meet We been knowing each other it feels like centuries It was a midnight summer dream We pretend we were young again We were two kids who had a crush Blowing kisses in the dark You heard my heart was torn You came rescue me like a friend You know how to give me a rush Early before sun rise at the park Chorus It was a midnight summer dream It was just you and me Playing like we use to be It was like the first time we ever meet We been knowing each other it feels like centuries It was a midnight summer dream Bridge No one knows our secrets Fa la fa la fa la la We risk it at every cost Stealing kisses in the dark No matter what those memories will stay in my heart Chorus It was a midnight summer dream It was just you and me Playing like we use to be It was like the first time we ever meet We been knowing each other it feels like centuries It was a midnight summer dream Ending: I was 23 again.. I was 23 again??
