It's Christmas eve and a child is waiting on Santa Claus to come.

I left a card for Santa from all the family
It says thank you for all you do and hung it on the tree
I know he’s is busy spreading light and joy
Leaving gifts around the world for every girl and boy

I really want a puppy, I've been good all year
Cuz I hear if I’m naughty I’ll just get underwear
So I’m on the lookout up in the evening sky
To see a jolly man in red and reindeer flying by

Where oh where is Santa Claus 
No one wants to say
I lie awake and listen 
But I don't hear his sleigh
Tick tock tick tock goes the clock 
It's almost Christmas day
Where oh where is Santa Claus 
Has he lost his way

Mom’s cookies on the table and milk from Borden's cow
And homemade gingerbread men, oh I can taste ‘em now
As I sit by the window, the street is white with snow
I still don't hear a jingle or his ho ho ho
