    Backstory:
A friend made a comment to my post on Facebook, just saying "There's no future in the past." I liked that comment and took it from there.

    Lyrics:

There Aint No Future In The Past Verse: Took a ride up the I nine five. East Coast highway for a little drive. Traveled slow and took our time. Side tripped to that Annapolis town Quaint little bar on a corner I found. Old jukebox was still just a dime. Was a strange tune I had never heard. Said it was Captain Hiram’s word! Thought I would give it a try. Pressed A1, and a record spun. Thought I was gonna hear a song. Was an old sea salt gone bye. Said, Chorus: There aint no future in the past. Gotta move ahead and don’t look back. Guide your ship from the tallest mast! And don’t believe your fate is cast! ‘Cause there aint no future in the past. Verse: Thought about it for a moment or two. While we sat talking and drinking our brew. Then I played that A1 again. Seemed to make a lot of good sense. Worth the extra dime I just spent. And then I got out my pen. Wrote, (Repeat Chorus) Simple enough, I thought. But those words had me caught. Little wisdom’s what I bought. I could take it all in or not. No (Repeat Chorus) Tag: No, there aint no future in the past.
