Backstory:

I just wanted to write a song to encourage men to put God first in everything they do so that they can fully enjoy the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And study God's word and pray

He thanks the Lord for giving him a Godly wife
And for all the love and beauty she brings to his life
At least once a week he takes her out on a date
And if he had the chance to do it all again
He'd do it the same way
