Backstory:
At 19 years old I decided to get marry. My parents was mad because he was my first boyfriend, first love and everything. They thought I should wait. Many people said he was fooling around but I never believed it. During my marriage I had our wonderful daughter. Out of the blue few years later left and after hurricane Rita I was given divorce papers to my hands.
I wrote this two years after while he was getting married and five years later paid professional demo service to create it.
Lyrics:
Verse
Today it started off cold
I walk the sidewalk near the church
There you stood with your best man
The mystery was not hard to solve
You was with the one chose
You slip away like sand through my delicate hands
Chorus
This is your wedding day
There's no more us
Picture it all gone
I'm a memory of the pass
This is your wedding day
There's no more us
A SMALL TOWN GIRL COUNTRY SONG
Driving the highway to Dallas to the street of Arkansas
Verse
Watching you stand her
It reminded me of us
The words I love you
You never wanted to discuss
Saw off dreams and broken promises
All I hold in hand
The fairytale man I made you out to be revealed himself at last
REPEAT Chorus
Bridge
19 year old was just too young
I heard my momma now than
It only last ten years with our seven year old daughter close near
REPEAT Chorus
Ending: Congratulations
