Bill Clinton gave a speech at the opening of his presidential library a couple of years ago, and it was pouring rain. He said "My mama always used to say that rain is liquid sunshine, and I shouldn't complain because someone is probably benefiting from it." I thought "Liquid Sunshine" was a cool title, and I tried to write a song imaging Clinton's mama's life. I am still trying to get the song to him for his own listening pleasure -- if you have any ideas, please let me know!
