Backstory:

I was daydreaming about Christmas and Santa leaving me a guitar.

I guess that I was wide awake 
but it seemed just like a dream
I thought that I saw Santa Claus
sliding down on a moonbeam

Well, his silver hair was flowin’
blowin’ wildly in the wind
He had a guitar in his arms

	I love this time of year
	everybody’s smiling

He landed on my front door step
and played  Jingle Bell Rock
Then walked right in the house
and started fillin’ every sock

Rockin’ round the Christmas tree
he was really getting’down
I peeked around the corner
but did not make a sound  (He sang -)

he jammed a little more

or even what I saw

He polished up that guitar
and left it near my sock
