My father was buried at Arlington National Cemetery on 5.14.19. He served for 23 years in the Navy and retired at age 45 with the final rank of Captain. Beyond just expressing my feelings about the day, I would love for others, who have a loved one buried there, to find a connection with this song. And therefore I do want it to be commercial. I know my singing and playing aren't the best to convey all the emotion but I know what magic can happen in a studio as well. I am especially looking for any melody changes you think might benefit the song.
