When you dream in a half-asleep state and/or wake up while dreaming, you remember the dream. The melody idea for this song came to me in such a state. Since I already had the words sent by Benn, I quickly snapped out of my drowsiness to check if the melody would fit into the words. And, it did. Out of the several beats we could use for this challenge, Benn and I both preferred the Bright Backbeat the most. So, we started from there, sped the beat up to make the song uptempo, made some tweaks to both the words and the melody, and soon it all came together.

Years later when I'm looking back at the song, I seem to have forgotten who took charge of the lyrics and who the melody. I think that tells me, it can go down as an example of good prosody (marriage of music and words).
