Backstory:
While driving through Kansas on our way to Colorado a few years ago I had several hours of no scenery to kill. The idea that Dangerous could be broken down into a little bit of a play on words had me occupied until we hit the Colorado border. I brought that hook home with me and pitched it to Dan and off we went.
Lyrics:
Dangerous

We’ve been down this road before
You’d think by now we figured out
Our love just leads to slamming doors
But we don’t know, when to let go
It ain’t no use, we light the fuse
And we explode
Pre-Chorus:
Lost in the dark
And in each other’s arms
And we know in our hearts
It’s dangerous,
We know we should stop
But the fire’s too hot
So good, but it’s not
It’s dangerous
Chorus:
Danger you, danger me,
Danger us
Danger us, danger me
Danger us
This wicked love is like a drug
We get high, come crashing down
But right now we’re tangled up
Repeat Pre-chorus
Repeat Chorus
We’ve been down this road before
You’d think by now we figured out
Our love just leads to slamming doors
