Backstory:
The words to this song, written into the melody, came from an inspiration I (Ban) got from a poem called “I Remember, I Remember” by Thomas Hood (https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems-and-poets/poems/detail/44387) that was part of our curriculum in grade school (forgot which grade exactly). The song had touched me really deeply, so much so that many years later it gave birth to “Chupi Chupi.” It has been the source of inspiration for a multitude of other poems and songs I have penned over the years.
Obviously a song about yearning for childhood, it 'shows' in flashback images of toys, dolls, swings, and the land of fairies. In our fancy, we can go anywhere, even to the days when we were little.
This song led to the first official (post-album release) music video from Ban Brothers' 2016 World Music Album "All About Love: Music from the Heart."

Lyrics:
CHUPI CHUPI [SILENTLY]
(Gautam Banerjee, Swagata “Ban” Banerjee)
[Chorus]
SILENTLY…
LET’S RETRACE OUR PATHS
BACK TO CHILDHOOD *
LIKE A BIRD
SPREAD OUR WINGS
HOLDING HANDS OF TIME
BACK TO CHILDHOOD
Repeat Chorus (up to *) two times
[Verse 1]
WE’LL ROCK ON SWINGS
PLAY WITH TOYS AND DOLLS
AND LISTENING TO FAIRY-TALES
WE’LL FLY TO THE LAND OF FAIRIES
LIKE A BIRD
SPREAD OUR WINGS
HOLDING HANDS OF TIME
BACK TO CHILDHOOD
Repeat Chorus (up to *) two times
[Verse 2]
WITH HALF-BAKED WORDS IN OUR MOUTHS
WE WERE HAPPY THEN
HOW I LONG TO GO BACK
TO THOSE WORRILESS DAYS
LIKE A BIRD
SPREAD OUR WINGS
HOLDING HANDS OF TIME
BACK TO CHILDHOOD
Repeat Chorus (up to *) two times
---End---
