Jack and Jill went up the hill
As they started their new life
He took her hand and they began
As husband and wife
They built a little house
and furnished it with love
Thankful for the blessings from above

If we both hold onto Jesus
And trust Him with our hearts

Then Jack and Jill moved up the hill
As his job would soon demand
Little ones came one by one
And filled her busy hands
The times they had together now
Seemed few and far between
So now and then he'd sing to her
Of the promise they had made

Where was Jesus now that things were falling apart?
