Out the door and off to work, it’s been the same for nearly fifteen years
Word comes down as he clocks in; the plant is set to close before next year
He doesn’t have a clue what he will do
But there’s a still small voice speakin’ to his heart, “Son you’ll make it through”

We watch the pieces come together, sometimes the pieces fall apart

Nine months of anxious wait and there are tears of grief instead of joy
The doctor says he did his best, he doesn’t hold much hope for their baby boy
They took him home and loved him through the pain
After three wheel chairs and a lot of prayer, he graduates today
