Backstory:

I wrote this song for my friend Jeanne Jasperse, who hosted the weekly "Coffeehouse Radio Show" on Kansas City's 90.1 KKFI-FM, a 100-thousand watt community radio station. Jeannie showcased singer/songwriters, including local Kansas City artists, as well as folk/Americana music which she found on her travels to festivals at Kerrville, Winfield, etc. I'm proud to say this was the show's theme song for the final five years of its 25-year run.
