ALWAYS ANOTHER TRAIN

Plays: 1
Lyrics
Always Another Train

I’m standin’ at the station no ticket in my hand
Don’t know where I’m headed but I ain’t comin’ back here again, never again

No I was not built for travel, I was not born to run
But when it comes unravelled
I will do what needs to be done, to be done
‘Cause there’s always another train

It’s not what I imagined, it wasn’t in my plan
I was backed into a corner and it was time to make my stand
And I made my stand

Now there’s always another train, another way, another name
There’s always another town, another day, another round
Another train, always another train

There’s pain in startin’ over but there is strength in movin’ on
One more was one too many
A reckoning was bound to come
A reckoning was bound to come

Now I’m just another traveller, faceless in a crowd
Dead set on disappearin’ and coverin’ coverin’ some ground
Never to be found

Cause there’s always another train, another way, another name
There’s always another town, another day, another round
There’s always another chance, another play, another hand
There’s always another train, another way, another name
There’s always another town, another day, another round
There’s always another chance, another play, another hand
Another train, always another train
Another train, always another train

ANOTHER HAND ME DOWN

Lyrics
Another Hand Me Down
Rod McCormack, Sam Gay, Templeton Thompson

Ruby was the youngest the last one of thirteen
The first to pack her bags and get on out of Aberdeen
Didn’t care where she was headed just knew she didn’t wanna be
On the edge of Mississippi ……and the edge of poverty

She just took the first ride out of there
With the first someone who seemed to care

But that promise on one knee with a quarter carat dream
Turned to years of trying and then half of everything
And half of next to nothing barely was enough to set her free
That ring might find another finger – a second hand a second chance
What goes around always comes around
Another hand me down

She laid down her last forty dollars, climbed on and found a seat
She told herself it’s just ’til she could get back on her feet
That greyhound took her back to where she never thought she’d be
On the edge of Mississippi ……and the edge of poverty

Small towns leave you with nowhere to hide
She’s not the first to come home swallowing her pride

But that promise on one knee with a quarter carat dream
Turned to years of trying and then half of everything
And half of next to nothing barely was enough to set her free
That ring might find another finger – a second hand a second chance
What goes around always comes around
Another hand me down

She knows it won’t be easy nothin’ much has ever been
it’s hard to take a broken heart and make it feel like new again

But that promise on one knee with a quarter carat dream
Turned to years of trying and then half of everything
And half of next to nothing barely was enough to set her free
That ring might find another finger – a second hand a second chance
What goes around always comes around
Another hand me down

Be a Friend

Lyrics
Be a Friend
Templeton Thompson/Radney Foster

There ain’t a whole lot a folks who do what they say
Most don’t walk the walk they just talk a good game
If you find one that does
Watch em roll up their sleeves & love
‘Cause there ain’t a whole lot a folks that do what they say

Oh but I wanna run with the ones that do
Hang out with the folks that’ll love you true
Let it rub off on me so I can be a better man
It’s the only thing that matters in the end
Be a friend

There ain’t a whole lot a folks who give it all they got
They don’t ever get much further than the parking lot
They don’t rock & they don’t roll
They’re just fine with the status quo
No there ain’t a whole lot a folks (who) give it all they got

Yeah but I wanna run with the ones that do
Hang out with the folks that’ll love you true
Let it rub off on me so I can be a better man (be the best one that I can)
it’s the only thing that matters in the end
Be a friend

Now there ain’t a whole lotta of folks who hold out hope
You say you wanna change the world
They just say nope
They tell ya you can’t dream that dream
That ain’t a song that you can sing
No there ain’t a whole lot of folks that hold out hope

Yeah but I wanna run with the ones that do
(I’m gonna) hang out with the folks that’ll love you true
Let it rub off on me & be the best one that I can
it’s the only thing that matters in the end
(So) be a friend

Call em up
Ask how they’re doin
Make ‘em smile
Tell ‘em you love em
Fix the fence
Love your neighbor
Go the extra mile
Be a difference maker

Beautiful Day

Lyrics
Beautiful Day
Templeton Thompson/Sam Gay

There’s a bluebird on some barbed wire
There ain’t no clouds only blue sky
And I’ve got flowers in my garden
Yeah it’s lookin’ like a beautiful day

So I was thinkin’ I’d go walkin’
Down the dirt road, maybe stop and
Smell the roses, take it easy
‘Cause it’s lookin’ like a beautiful day

Beautiful day yeah yeah beautiful day
Ain’t it beautiful
Beautiful day yeah yeah beautiful day

Lay the top down take a long ride
That’ll be me wavin’ goodbye
To whatever used to get me
‘Cause it’s lookin’ like a beautiful day

Beautiful day yeah yeah beautiful day
Ain’t it beautiful
Beautiful day yeah yeah beautiful day

‘Cause it’s all good feelin’ alright
I got it made in the shade
It’s a beautiful day

Don’t tell me it's rainin’
I got no room for complainin’
It’s only weather, it don’t matter
It’s gonna be a beautiful day

Beautiful day yeah yeah beautiful day
Ain’t it beautiful
Beautiful day yeah yeah beautiful day

‘Cause it’s all good, feelin’ alright
I got it made in the shade
It’s a beautiful day oh yeah
Beautiful day
I got flowers in my garden
Oh it’s beautiful day

Believe - Suno demo

Plays: 0
Lyrics
I hope you love with all your heart
Always finish what you start
And if the road gets rough, I hope you stay the course
And that you, always choose your battles well
And when you need it ask for help
But fight like hell for what's worth fightin' for

Keep the sunshine on your face, the cold wind at your back
I hope you laugh until you cry and cry until you laugh
And count your blessings everyday and don't forget to dream
And above all else, above all else believe

I hope you're always doin' somethin'
Somethin' that you truly love but don't forget to take the time to breathe
Fear can hold you back don't let it, you can do it don't forget it
And above all else, above all else believe

Keep the sunshine on your face, the cold wind at your back
I hope you laugh until you cry and cry until you laugh
And count your blessings everyday and don't forget to dream
And above all else, above all else believe

There's freedom in forgiveness
And honesty will get you everywhere
No matter what you're always learnin' even if you might not know it
Wisdom can come from anywhere

I hope you let go of the reins when you feel the slightest change
And don't forget to celebrate the try
And if that pony bucks you off, I hope you'll always get back on and ride, ride, ride, ride

And keep the sunshine on your face, the cold wind at your back
I hope you laugh until you cry and cry until you laugh
And count your blessings everyday and don't forget to dream
And above all else, above all else believe

Blue Eyes and All

Plays: 0
Lyrics
Blue Eyes and All
Sam Gay, Porter Howell

I’ve forgotten you
You don’t cross my mind
I don’t think about what might’ve been
My tears have dried
To tell the truth
I’ve forgotten you
Blue eyes and all

I’ve forgotten you
And those campfires by the lake
And how I’d hold you close when every little sound made you afraid
I needed to
So I’ve forgotten you
Blue eyes and all

My friends say I really should stop livin’ in the past
Just move on without ever lookin’ back
I can’t seem to make ‘em understand
I already have... I already have

I’ve forgotten you
And how you loved to dance
And how you always knew just when to make me laugh
It’s all that I could do
So I’ve forgotten you
Blue eyes and all

My friends say I really should stop livin’ in the past
Just move on without ever lookin’ back
I can’t seem to make ‘em understand
I already have... I already have

I’ve forgotten you
You don’t cross my mind
I don’t think about what might’ve been
My tears have dried
The honest truth is
I’ve forgotten you
Blue eyes and all
I needed to
So I’ve forgotten you
Blue eyes and all
Blue eyes and all

Christmas in the Country

Plays: 0
Lyrics
Man I love this old house
Especially this time of year
Snow's blowin' through the oak trees
Young'uns grinnin' ear to ear

Mama's busy in the kitchen
Makin' way more than we need
Feels like heaven by the fireplace
Lights are twinklin' on the tree
Pretty bows and pretty paper
Pretty wonderful to me

It's Christmas in the country and all the world is right
There's nowhere else on earth I'd rather be
Then home, sweet home
Makin' merry memories
Yeah, that's Christmas in the country

Pretty soon we'll all be singin'
Jingle Bells and Silent Night
Church bells will be ringin,' everything is merry and bright
Santa Claus is comin,' Santa Claus is comin' tonight

It's Christmas in the country and all the world is right
There's nowhere else on earth I'd rather be
Then home, sweet home
Makin' merry memories
Yeah, that's Christmas in the country

When it comes to Christmas wishes
There's only one thing on my list
Let's find a little mistletoe and steal ourselves a Christmas Eve kiss

It's Christmas in the country and all the world is right
There's nowhere else on earth I'd rather be
Then home, sweet home
Makin' merry memories, yeah that's Christmas in the country
Christmas in the country
Man I love this old house

Lyrics
Get Back Up

Never saw it comin’ happened all at once and now
Now, this is now
And I could let it break me I could let it take me down
Down, all the way down
But that’s not how I’m made
I won’t be afraid

I’ll get back up, get back on and ride
I got dreams to chase and I ain’t the quittin’ kind
I got miles and miles and miles to go
And this ain’t my last rodeo
No I’ll, I’ll get back up, get back on and ride
Ride, ride, ride

Every day’s another chance to take a leap of faith
Find a way onward
And I can feel you with me every single step I take
You make me stronger
Turn and face the sun
Let this pony run

And get back up, get back on and ride
I got dreams to chase and I ain’t the quittin’ kind
Yeah I know I got miles to go
But this ain’t my last rodeo
No I’ll, I’ll get back up, get back on and ride

I will keep on daring greatly
Yes I know it won’t be easy
And if I fall and if I stumble
At least I’ll know I gave it my all...heart and soul

I’ll get back up, get back on and ride
I got dreams to chase and I ain’t the quittin’ kind
Yeah I know I got miles to go
But this ain’t my last rodeo
No I’ll, I’ll get back up, get back on and ride
Ride, ride, ride
Every day’s another chance to take a leap of faith
Find a way onward

Get back, get back, get back in the saddle again
Keep on, keep on, keep on, keep on movin’
Don’t lose faith and don’t lose heart
Just believe in who you are

Come on, come on the sun is shinin’
Come on, come on it’s a beautiful day
For ridin’ out past the horizon
With nothin’ in our way
Come on, come on as fast as lightnin’
Come on, come on let’s go
I’m with you wherever the wind blows
In this rodeo

I can feel your heart, your heart, your heart beating
I can see your soul, your soul, your soul reachin’
Up and out into the sky
There’s no reason we can’t fly

Come on, come on the sun is shinin’
Come on, come on it’s a beautiful day
For ridin’ out past the horizon
With nothin’ in our way
Come on, come on as fast as lightnin’
Come on, come on let’s go
I’m with you wherever the wind blows
In this rodeo

There’s no fences where we’re goin’
Out into the wide open

Come on, come on the sun is shinin’
Come on, come on it’s a beautiful day
For ridin’ out past the horizon
With nothin’ in our way
Come on, come on as fast as lightnin’
Come on, come on let’s go
I’m with you wherever the wind blows
In this rodeo
Come on, come on let’s go
I’m with you, I’m with you in this rodeo

Lyrics
Cowboy History
Templeton Thompson, Sam Gay

There ain’t no quit in these amigos
That ain’t the way that we roll
You and me we’re different from the rest
Nobody said it’d be easy
I’m worn out and I’m weary
But given’ up ain’t crossed my mind, not yet
That’s not who we are we’ve come this far

We’re a band of brothers lookin’ out for each other
Hangin’ on and chasin’ down our dreams
There’s a tie that binds us holds us, reminds us
That where we are is where we’re supposed to be
Findin’ our own way
Makin’ cowboy history

Tumbleweeds and canyons
Blue skies and mountains
We’ve seen so much but there’s so much more to see
We’ve had good luck and heartaches
And through it all we’ve stayed
Steady on, steady on
We’ve still got miles to go down this road

We’re a band of brothers lookin’ out for each other
Hangin’ on and chasin’ down our dreams
There’s a tie that binds us holds us, reminds us
That where we are is where we’re supposed to be
Findin’ our own way
Makin’ cowboy history

Who knows what lies over that horizon
Hell, fire, lightnin,’ thunder rolls
Ooo let it roll

We’re a band of brothers lookin’ out for each other
Hangin’ on and chasin’ down our dreams
There’s a tie that binds us holds us, reminds us
That where we are is where we’re supposed to be
Findin’ our own way
Makin’ cowboy history
Goin’ our own way
Makin’ cowboy history
