Why do you write songs?
After Mom died, I fell into a depression so deep I didn't think I would get out. I couldn't work; I was sick in bed all the time; my skin was wrinkled & sagging & liver-spotted & my hair was turning white. I felt like I was dying. Somehow I managed to write a letter to a Christian woman & asked her to pray. She said she would fast & pray for 3 days. Also, at the prompting of God, I put a Kirk Franklin song on repeat on my CD player. I listened to it over & over again; day & night. 2 weeks later, I was well. The white hairs fell out & grew back in brown. My skin & went back to normal. Later, I went to vocational training for construction work. I then worked as a carpenter for about a year. Name of the song? "He'll Take The Pain Away" \o/
