Why do you write songs? 
Wow...do I have any other choice? For instance, if you were to wake up in the morning with melodies or lyrics invading your waking thoughts...insisting that you record them...what would you do? Ignore them and move on (creating a miserable start to the day), or give in to their incessant internal chatter? I've tried the former. It's not possible!

Who are your main influences?
I'm a creature of ecclectic habits. In most areas of my life, I enjoy variety. That includes my musical interests. Primarily growing up, I listened to The Beatles, jazz, Barry Manilow, The Lennon Sisters, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Andy Williams...see? What did I tell you! Variety is truly the spice that flavors my life.
