Why do you write songs?
It’s ‘me’.
The real me.
It’s my escape.
It’s my passion.
And .... the heart’s gotta do what the heart’s gotta do!
Who are your main influences?
Musically, my childhood was filled with Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Kenny Rogers, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, Elvis & Queen!
Later, it was like a whole new world had opened up when I found The Eagles, Carole King, Aretha Franklyn, Barbra Streisand, Brenda Russell, Cher, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Joe Ely, Colin Rae and Alan Jackson. Wow!
