New:(not on pre-pitch meeting)Soul/Blues/Southern Rock. FEMALE. This music industry veteran artist has is in her 50's and still recording and selling albums on a major label. She is particularly interested in UPTEMPO numbers with a retro vibe in the bluesy, southern rock style. Lyrically, can be story/message songs, even gospel songs. Think Bonnie Raitt, Mavis Staples, and Lucinda Williams. PITCH APPROPRIATELY PLEASE. Sound sample gives an idea of voice, not vibe...it's from a previous project with different direction.

Country. GROUP-MALE. These three guitar-playing guys are pretty cool and eclectic; but their vibe tends toward positive lyrics and with their harmonies they have a "rootsy" (acoustic) vibe. For "rootsy" think a la the group Little Big Town. They are looking for rootsy, yet commercial and radio-friendly songs, that will be great for 3-part harmony. Listen to the sound sample which will be posted later this week.
