Course Description
Once you've completed your pre-production steps, you're ready to head into
the recording studio. If you've never been in a recording studio before, it may
appear a little intimidating at first. In this course, we'll go over some basic
principles that you need to know to make your sessions run easier and to insure
that you record your best performance. We'll talk specifically about the
recording, mixing, and mastering phases of your record project, plus tips for
avoiding disasters.

Lesson 4: Valuable Tips And Avoiding Disasters
Estimated Time
This course consists of four lessons each of which takes approximately fifteen
to thirty minutes to complete. To obtain the greatest benefit, we suggest that you leave enough
time after finishing each lesson to do all the exercises and fully absorb the material before
beginning the next lesson.
Pre-Requisite Knowledge
It is highly recommended that you complete all the parts of this series in order. This course
assumes that you have already completed Making & Releasing Your Own Record, Part 1: Pre-production.
