In this master class in lyric writing, you will study several advanced
lyrical devices designed to add more polish and craft to your songs. Hit
songwriter, Craig Bickhardt teaches you how to handle the various components of
good story song writing. Discover how to get the most impact out of your story
songs in this detailed discussion of the elements of plot and character

Course Content
Topics to be covered include: Perspective, Action, Conflict, and
Resolution. Craig will demonstrate Character Development by both the Indirect
and Direct Characterization Methods. You’ll study Static and Dynamic Characters,
Flat and Round Characters, Sympathetic Characters and Character Transformation.
You’ll examine Anecdote, Symbolism, Magical Realism and Allegory in the lyrics
of popular songs, and discover how to get the most impact out of your story
