Course Description
There is a wide variety of musical styles in the Christian songwriting market. In this course, you will be introduced to several of these styles from traditional to contemporary. You will be given a thorough understanding of the kinds of Christian songs that you hear in churches, on the radio, on CD's and in concerts. Finally, you will be given instruction on how to write different types of Christian songs including the narrative, the attitudinal and the situational song.

Lesson 1: The Traditional Christian Song, Contemporary Christian Song And Inspirational Song
Lesson 2: The Southern Gospel Song, Country Gospel Song And Christian Country Song
Lesson 3: The Narrative Song
Lesson 4: The Attitudinal Song And The Situational Song

This course consists of four lessons each of which takes approximately fifteen to thirty minutes to complete. To obtain the greatest benefit, we suggest that you leave enough time after finishing each lesson to do all the exercises and fully absorb the material before beginning the next lesson.
