This two-week course, the first in the Recording Process Series, focuses on the up-front part of the process: recording and overdubbing. Fett teaches pro recording techniques such as correct microphone placement and setting proper levels to get the best sound. He provides specific details on how to record vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, piano and keyboards, drums and other instruments. He also makes some suggestions about specific recording gear that sounds great but is also affordable. This class is for anyone who wants to get a better sound from their recordings, from beginner to advanced.
