About Nancy Moran
Nancy Moran is a professional singer, songwriter and recording artist. She has released three albums on Azalea Records and from 1993 - 1998 toured nationally playing festivals, clubs and coffeehouses. Her records have received national and international airplay and she was recently nominated for Best Female Vocalist and won Best Songwriter in the 2001 Virginia Sound Achievement (VSA) Awards on WXGI in Richmond, VA (her hometown). Her popular song "Classified" was also nominated for Song of the Year. While taking a break from the road in 1999 and 2000, Nancy served as Artist Services Representative and Educational Director of Songs.com, a select internet community for hundreds of professional independent recording artists. She also co-authored the audio songwriters reference series entitled, "The Songwriter's Survival Kit." She has been a guest speaker at the Nashville NSAI Workshop and she currently teaches workshops on "Making and Releasing Your Own Record," "Booking Yourself," "Releasing Your Natural Creativity" and other topics at The Music School on Music Row in Nashville and across the country for songwriting and music organizations. Nancy is currently writing new material for her next album, rehearsing with her band, completing her new book, "Making and Releasing Your Own Record," and contributing to American Songwriter Magazine.
